Teenage Nutrition Plans

How I can convince my mom to let me go on a diet?
Well, like any other teenager I have some weight problems. I have almost 20 years kilo overweight and I'm tired of that. So I thought the responsible thing to do was go on a diet. I found a calorie restriction diet plan in a Dutch nutrition site that tells me what can and can not eat in a day. (With an exercise plan) I showed my mom and started yelling at me! I said I was crazy and jumped to the conclusion that I have it on a website pro ana! She has been obese all their lives and I do not want to be like when he is old. How I can convince her that I really need this?
Why do not you say you want to eat healthily rather than diet, because the type of diet restriction word sounds like food.
